SO GOOD! I ordered the specialty curry with the addition of cheese. As a big fan of mapo tofu, this is an incredible combination. Extra filling with the minced meat, tofu, and katsu. I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy mapo tofu or just want to try a different type of curry!
My first impressions of the store is that it is a really nice little store in a small alley. The overall store was small, but it has a good vibe.
The owner was really friendly and focused on cooking the food. I ordered the Mapo-Curry with katsu and it tasted phenomenal. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it quickly became one of my favourite things to eat in Osaka.
I would definitely go there again in the future. 10/10 would recommend
Also you can pay with Suica 🙌
A unique little restaurant tucked away in the corner of Namba with fantastic food!
We came across this place by chance and I'm so glad we did! The ladies working the place were kind and quick, taking our orders and serving our food very quickly. The mabo-curry was delicious, with a great balance of spices and flavor. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for something tasty to warm you up!
Super delicious. I really like to have second plate, but I am too full. This is really a must-try restaurant. The Mapo Curry cooked really well, the taste is fantastic, and the spiciness is just right. I also really enjoy the tongue-numbing spice. It’s a little salty, but you can use the sweet red pickle to balance it. Not to mention the Katsutama ( fried pork steak) it’s fired just well, crispy and tender.
Found a hidden gem located in a foodie alley. When we arrive, the place was already filled with people.
There is an English menu. The owner is very nice & focused. It shines through her cooking.
We ordered the "Katsutama Mapo Curry" and additional jalapeño. The food is very delicious. The jalapeño add a hint of freshness & complement the taste of the mapo curry perfectly.
The cutlet is crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. The curry taste is also not overpowering.
Overall a great place to eat, the place can fit 8 person in one seating.
Good taste!
Recommending for who likes Mabo + Curry
But the store is a bit hot
(There are 8 seats and English menu available)
You like curry and mapo dofu? But can't decide?
You don't have to, because here you get both!
Here you get a really good curry that also tastes like mapo dofu. The menu is simple and there is not much choice.
There is a small selection of toppings and you can choose the level of spiciness.
The place is quite small, there is only counter seating. Feel free to come here as a tourist, the people are friendly and will help you.
Very nice experience and I will be back.
Yummy! Definitely a hidden gems in Namba ✨✨ Unique combination of mapotofu & curry; which surprisingly works!
